Church Services

Church Services

We have a very special relationship with St Mildred’s Church based on proximity and our shared place in Queen Victoria’s legacy.

St Mildred’s is a Church of England Church in the heart of the Whippingham, East Cowes. The site has been a place of worship since at least Norman times and was visited and cherished by Queen Victoria when in residence on the Isle of Wight.

We hold several services at St Mildred’s throughout the course of the year, including Harvest Festival, Remembrance, Nativity, Easter and Prize Giving. The whole school attends, and parents, grandparents and friends are also warmly invited. School Prefects, pupil readers and choristers play a big part in the running of services, and a retiring collection is usually held on behalf of a local or national charity. Recent examples include Aspire in Ryde, Pan Together in Newport, Mountbatten Hospice and the Royal British Legion.
