Here you will find all of the details regarding our SMSC development programme within the School for pupils from Early Years to S5 (Year 11).

Pupils learn the beliefs and experiences of others; respect different faiths, feelings and values; think about themselves, others and the world around them; learn to use their imagination and creativity.

Pupils learn how to recognise right and wrong by respecting the law and understanding consequences. They will also have the chance to look at different moral and ethical issues and have the opportunity to offer reasoned views.

Pupils are encouraged to use a range of social skills in and around School and the local community. Students will also be taught ‘Fundamental British Values’.

Pupils learn about various cultural influences and the role of Britain’s parliamentary systems. Various cultural opportunities are available to all pupils so they can understand, accept and respect diversity.
